Information Goji berries can be a healthy and nutritious food for pregnant women. Goji berries are rich in essential vitamins and minerals, including iron, calcium and vitamins A, C and B. They are also rich in antioxidants which help protect the body from free radicals. However, their consumption should be moderate during pregnancy. Goji berries contain relatively high quantities of vitamin A and high levels of vitamin A can be harmful to the fetus. For this reason, it is recommended not to consume more than 45 grams of goji berries per day during pregnancy. In general, Goji berries can be consumed safely during pregnancy, provided you don’t abuse it. Pregnant women can consume it as a source of essential antioxidants and vitamins, but they must make sure not to exceed the recommended limit.
