Information During pregnancy, it is important to eat safe and nutritious foods that help baby growth and health. Unfortunately, cheese is not one of the food choices recommended for pregnant women. Lyd cheese is a soft cheese made from raw milk which is not pasture and which is refined for six to eight weeks. As is produced from raw milk, there is a risk of contamination by harmful bacteria, such as salmonella, listeria and brucellosis. These bacteria can lead to complications for the mother and the baby. Consequently, pregnant women should avoid east cheese and any other unpasteurized soft cheese. If you are pregnant and you want to eat cheese, opt instead for hard dough varieties, which have been pasteurized and which are therefore safer. In conclusion, it is best not to eat cheese staggered during pregnancy due to the risk of contamination by harmful bacteria. It is best to choose hard pasteurized varieties.
